    ​MEET LIA NIELSEN

    Simply Sustainabile  

    Lia Nielsen and co-founder of the Green Building Center and owner of Simply Sustainable Products and Services based in Lambertville, NJ. With a background in Construction Management and Sustainability, Lia has worked on a wide variety of projects, from residential to commercial and institutional, including the Peter Lewis Library at Princeton University and the Bank of Amercian Tower in New York. Specializing in healthy and eco-friendly building materials selection, Lia provides consulting and project management services for large and small clients alike. She is LEED green associate and a WELL accredited professional, teaching the latter, and she speaks regularly on topics related to green building. 

    MEET KIMBERLY HOFF

    New Jersey Clean Energy  

    Kimberly Hoff is a Market Outreach Manager and works on behalf of New Jersey’s residential energy efficiency programs under New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program™, specifically the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR, HVAC and Residenial New Construction programs.  Her experience encompasses working in marketing, client services, and government affairs.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Susquehanna University and a Masters of Business Administration from Rider University.

    MEET SONJA MICHALUK

    The Consequences of Fracking

    Sonja Michaluk is a student at Hopewell Valley Central High School in Hopewell, NJ. She has been studying macro-invertebrates for a number of years and her work was recently recognized when she was one of 30 finalists in the Broadcom MASTERS (Math, Applied Science, Technology and Engineering for Rising Stars) national competition.  She is also an intern at the Stony Brook Millstone Watershed Association, and teaches during the summer at 4-H camps.
